A California Lottery ticket sold in San Francisco has won $1 million dollars, officials said Tuesday.
“This means #CALottery has made its FIRST EVER billionaire,” the California Lottery said in a tweet.
The winning Powerball ticket matched all six numbers and nets the lucky winner $2.04 billion.
ABC7 reports that the winning San Francisco ticket was purchased from a convenience store at 1001 Castro Street.
