A person was killed early Tuesday morning in the Tenderloin neighborhood.

When San Francisco police arrived at Turk Street near the Taylor Street intersection, they found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound who later died at the scene at around 3:15 a.m.

Officers from the Tenderloin Station were initially responding to a 911 call about a shooting. According to ABC7, a window of a nearby business has a bullet hole in it.

The Medical Examiner identified the victim as 39-year-old Jonathan Rhone, an Alameda County resident.

There is no suspect in custody at this time and police are still investigating the incident, police sources say.

SFPD has been contacted for further information.
