Multiple stabbings rock San Francisco’s Tenderloin

A man was found stabbed in San Francisco's Tenderloin Thursday evening, marking the third stabbing incident this week in the neighborhood.

At approximately 11:40 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to a report of a stabbing at Geary Street between Jones and Taylor and found a 41-year-old man suffering from apparent stab wounds.

The victim said he had been attacked by four unknown suspects in the area of Taylor and Ellis streets; he was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

In the early hours of Thursday, another stabbing near Jones and Eddy streets sent a 50-year-old victim to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police responded to the scene at roughly 1 a.m and rendered aid; no arrests have been made in the incident.

On Tuesday, a person was found knifed to death around 1:10 a.m., police said.

Police responding to reports at Ellis Street between Leavenworth and Hyde found an unidentified victim with stab wounds. The person was declared deceased at the scene and the suspect is still at large.
