Person Found Stabbed to Death in the Tenderloin

A person was stabbed to death in the Tenderloin in the first hours of Tuesday morning.

Police responding to reports of someone down on Ellis Street between Leavenworth and Hyde streets found the unidentified victim with stab wounds around 1:10 a.m. Tuesday.

Officers tried to aid the victim and called in medics, but the victim was declared deceased at the scene, police said.

The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
