Rapper, entrepreneur, aspiring NHL owner and longtime Los Angeles Laker fan Snoop Dogg joined Stephen A. Smith on ESPN First Take on Tuesday morning, and he had some sharp words for one Golden State Warrior in particular.

“We’re gonna be probably doubling Steph, so someone else is gonna be open,” the 51-year-old rapper said. “Jordan Poole, keep shooting. I like the way you’ve been missing.”

Poole struggled throughout Golden State’s seven-game series victory over the Sacramento Kings, going just 9-for-35 from beyond the arc, a 25.7% clip. In a 118-99 Game 6 defeat, Poole went just 2-of-11 from the field, and he played just over 19 minutes in Game 7, with head coach Steve Kerr instead opting to give more time to Moses Moody and Gary Payton II.

While Snoop did take a jab at Poole, he did have plenty of praise for Stephen Curry.

Snoop also detailed his hopes of becoming an owner of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators. The Senators are largely an afterthought in the NHL, sandwiched between two major fanbases in Toronto and Montreal, and playing in an arena some 40 minutes out of town doesn’t do them any favors. Adding Snoop to the fray would probably make the Senators a more appealing brand.
