UPDATE: Roads have since reopened in the area and fire department activity has cleared, according to local officials.

Concerns about falling glass from Salesforce East at 350 Mission St. have forced a road closure by public safety officials.

The San Francisco Fire Department confirmed no glass is currently falling from the building after multiple windows were damaged on March 22 during high winds. The road closure is in effect "out of an abundance of caution," according Capt. John Baxter.

Mission Street between Beale and Fremont streets is closed to traffic and commuters are advised to avoid the area, officials said.

Workers are currently unable to complete repairs to the building's windows as weather conditions are too dangerous for using scaffolding, Baxter said.

The windows are currently secured in line with Department of Building Inspection rules, Baxter said.
