Watch: Bay Area cops hunting truck driver in hit-and-run that badly injured man

San Jose police are hunting for a truck driver that hit and seriously injured a pedestrian last week.

Police said on March 9 at around 7:03 p.m. a light-colored truck was turning westbound onto Tully Road from the southbound section of Flint Avenue when it struck a man.

Police said that the pedestrian was outside of any marked crosswalk and was assisting a family in a disabled vehicle.

The vehicle and driver fled the scene after the collision and have not been located or identified since.

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
