A San Francisco Muni bus crashed into a Tesla sedan near Van Ness Avenue and Clay Street Tuesday.

The collision occurred around 8:31 a.m. and pictures show a southbound Muni bus crashed into the driver's side of the Tesla.

No one was injured in the crash, according to San Francisco police. There was no information on how many occupants were inside each vehicle.

The Tesla appears to have entered the intersection as the bus was driving in a bus-only lane on Van Ness Avenue when the crash occurred.

The crash appeared to only affect the two vehicles involved, but the incident held up another bus coming the other direction.

SF Muni text alerts sent at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday warned travelers of delays in the area due to a "Muni-involved collision in the intersection."

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency did not respond to requests for comment.
