San Francisco police officers are responding to what authorities describe as a "subject in crisis" incident in the Mission District.

Mission Station officers responded to this incident around 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday to 14th Street near Natoma and Minna streets.

Officers at the scene are "attempting to negotiate a peaceful resolution," according to a department spokesperson.

This is a developing story.
