A man shot at someone Wednesday afternoon before driving in reverse down a Bernal Heights street, San Francisco police said.

The road rage incident was reported around 4:23 p.m. near Newman and Bennington streets, where a witness told police that a suspect “engaged with them” before shooting at them, authorities said.

Audio from the incident was posted to @FriscoLive415 on X—the rebranded Twitter—with dispatchers saying the suspect was driving a black Audi in reverse on Bennington while flashing a gun, according to the audio.

The reporting party also told dispatchers they heard two shots and that the driver was a bald white man.

No arrests have been made in the incident, and no injuries or property damage were reported, according to SFPD.
