BART resumed service from Coliseum Station to the Oakland airport Friday afternoon after the agency reported an electrical issue on the tracks that stopped train service for just over four hours.

The equipment issue on BART's tracks halted transit between the stations just after noon, officials said. Service resumed a little after 4 p.m.

BART passengers who needed to get to Oakland International Airport were taken by an AC Transit bus from Coliseum Station to the airport, BART officials said.

Coliseum Station is the last stop before connecting to the airport.
