As a part of our ongoing commitment to making our coverage accessible to every San Franciscan, we are pleased to announce that The San Francisco Standard will begin publishing select stories in Chinese as well as English.

San Francisco has the highest percentage of Chinese-American residents of any major city in the U.S., with that population making up 23% of city inhabitants. Over the past year, we have made sure to cover stories of import to the Chinese-American community in San Francisco, and now we are proud to launch our bilingual publication of such stories.&nbsp;

The San Francisco Standard Is Going Bilingual 我们的新闻网将会开始提供中文语言的新闻。

Han Li is a reporter for The Standard covering the city's diverse Asian American communities. Born and raised in China, Han is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. He graduated from Sun Yat-sen University with a degree in journalism and holds a master's degree in public administration from the University of Southern California. Previously, Han wrote for the World Journal, a national Chinese-language newspaper. He brings his bilingual reporting skills to The Standard. When not reporting, you can find Han checking out the Bay Area's regional Chinese cuisine and immersing himself in Chinese American history and politics.
