A San Francisco woman arrested last week on suspicion of killing two young children is expected to be charged with murder, the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office announced Wednesday.

Paulesha Green-Pulliam, 34, was arrested at her Bayview home on Dec. 23 after police got a call from the father of the 1-year-old and 5-year-old girls who were found unresponsive at their home.

Green-Pulliam was set to be arraigned Wednesday afternoon in San Francisco Superior Court, but a judge moved the hearing to Friday to give her attorney, Deputy Public Defender Phoenix Streets, time to review the evidence.

Some of Green-Pulliam's relatives showed up in court Wednesday. A man who identified himself as her brother, but declined to share his name with The Standard, offered words of encouragement to Green-Pulliam as she was being escorted out.

“Love you, sis,” he said. “Keep your head up. We ain’t going nowhere.”

No new details about the case emerged in the hearing.

“My heart breaks for this family,” District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said in a news release ahead of the Wednesday hearing. “I offer them my deepest condolences and unwavering commitment to seeking justice.”
