The Golden State Warriors finally picked up a road win that had eluded them for much of the 2022-23 season and now sit one win away from the Western Conference Semifinals.
Wednesday night's 123-116 win over the Sacramento Kings at Golden 1 Center flips home-court advantage to the Warriors ahead of Friday night's Game 6. Tip-off time for Friday's game is 5 p.m.

Golden State outscored the Kings by 12 across the middle quarters, including a critical 7-2 run to close the third quarter. Stephen Curry scored a game-high 31 points, hitting a series of floaters to offset his 2-for-10 performance from 3-point range. Klay Thompson scored 25 and Draymond Green provided 21 points and seven assists off the bench. Andrew Wiggins scored 20 in 39 minutes.
De'Aaron Fox led Sacramento with 24 points, but shot just 9-for-25 from the field as a broken fingertip hampered his performance. The Kings also got 21 points apiece from Malik Monk and Domantas Sabonis, but Sabonis committed five turnovers and was outclassed in the paint by Kevon Looney, who racked up a game-high 22 rebounds.
The Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers each sit a game away from meeting up in the postseason for the first time since the 1991 Western Conference Semifinals. The Lakers lost 116-99 to the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night, but head back to Southern California with a 3-2 series lead. Game 6 of that series will also be played on Friday night, tipping off at 7:30 p.m., or just after the conclusion of Warriors-Kings Game 6.
