Winter storm warnings were issued across California this week with snow peppering rarely impacted parts of the state, including the Bay Area, Santa Cruz and even sunny Los Angeles County

As cities across the state experience a winter storm that hasn’t been faced in decades, what’s normally a warm beach state is now being covered with a blanket of snow.
