Chick-fil-A announced that a new Emeryville location will be opening Thursday, the restaurant chain said.

The store will be located at 1525 40th St. and will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, Chick-fil-A said.

The location would be the 177th California location of the Atlanta-based fast food chain, with the next closest Bay Area outpost in Walnut Creek. There's also a branch in Daly City at the Serramonte Center.
