BART announced major delays to its San Francisco Line on Sunday due to “unscheduled track maintenance” near the Daly City station, according to a department alert.

The organization says to expect delays on the SF Line toward East Bay, Daly City, Millbrae and SFO. It is unclear what exactly caused the delay.

A second service alert was issued in the East Bay on Sunday, as BART service stopped at Pleasant Hill due to “unscheduled track maintenance.” Contra Costa County Connection is providing bus service among the Concord, Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek stations, BART said.

Riders should expect major service delays on the Antioch line in both directions—toward SF International Airport and Antioch.

These unscheduled delays are in addition to planned maintenance to other BART lines in the Bay Area. The Yellow Line between Pleasant Hill and Concord will operate on a single track on Sunday, the third of three scheduled-maintenance Sundays to replace concrete ties at BART stations.
