Starting on Oct. 13, Swifties can relive her epic summer concert run on big screens in San Francisco, the pop star announced Thursday.
On the social network formerly known as Twitter, Swift's account posted a video trailer for the upcoming Sam Wrench-directed 2-hour, 45-minute unrated movie, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, announcing tickets are available now.
The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon 😆 Starting Oct 13th you’ll be able to experience the concert film in theaters in North America! "We're about to go on a little adventure together," Swift says in the trailer. "That adventure is going to span 17 years of music. How does that sound?"
San Francisco fans of the record-breaking pop star saw demand for tickets to this year's tour disrupt a presale event last November, while some lucky locals snagged tickets to a Downtown "rave." When Swift finally came to Levi's Stadium in July, Bay Area fans' excitement was visible (not to mention extremely lucrative and record-breaking).
A preorder link sends would-be moviegoers to AMC Theatres, Cinemark and Regal Movies chain's websites, as well as the Fandango ticket service.
