Outside Lands doesn’t descend upon San Francisco until August, but it’s not too early to plan for the popular music festival. Presale tickets go on sale tomorrow, March 1.
Early birds can snag a limited number of discounted “Eager Beaver” tickets starting at 10 a.m. for the three-day festival spanning Aug. 11-13. While the 2023 lineup has not yet been announced, the festival will once again host its signature mix of music, food, wine, beer, art and cannabis and offer experiences as extra as ever for those willing to plunk down a heavy chunk of change.
A three-day general admission pass starts at $409. Festivalgoers who want a few extra perks—or should we call them basic human rights?—can opt for the newly unveiled GA+ pass, which starts at $634 and offers access to exclusive lounges and bathrooms with flushable toilets. VIP tickets start at $929 and offer even more exclusive lounges and upgraded restrooms as well as access to dedicated entrances and viewing areas.
The ultra-luxe Golden Gate Club pass goes for $4,699 plus fees and allows ticket holders to get front-row access and travel from stage to stage via golf cart in addition to being wined and dined by “a star-studded lineup of local culinary and cocktail legends.” Golden Gate Club members also get exclusive access to the Skydeck Parlor, notably designed by the man behind Saint Joseph’s Art Society, Ken Fulk, with panoramic views of the Polo Field and an ADA-approved elevator.
Festivalgoers who aren’t ready to pay an arm and a leg just yet can sign up for updates. And even if you do have lots of extra change to spare, the red-hot concert ticket market for seeing stars like Beyoncé and Taylor Swift in SF suggests that the competition for these passes will be fierce. May the odds be ever in your favor.
