Dominique Crenn garnered much well-deserved fanfare when she became the first—and still only—female chef in the U.S. to capture three Michelin stars with her namesake restaurant Atelier Crenn on Fillmore Street.

Since then, the groundbreaking chef's business has continued to grow. She opened the intimate Bar Crenn adjacent to her main restaurant with just five tables. Available only by reservation, it has the vibe of an ultra-classy listening lounge. Le Comptoir Crenn was added to the bar in 2022, serving an interactive meal to a limited number of diners within the bar.

Now Crenn's offshoot is growing its offerings once again—with a new liquor license in place, the bar is now serving handcrafted cocktails in addition to its expansive wine list. The cocktails can be paired with the updated Bar Crenn snack menu, five small bites that are both savory and sweet.

Bar Crenn made the announcement on its website and Instagram account:

Crenn opened the restaurant along with her business partner (and pastry chef) Juan Contreras 12 years ago on Fillmore Street in Cow Hollow, and it recently reopened after a full renovation. Neighboring Bar Crenn also got a complete makeover.
