Outside Lands started spilling the tea about its 2023 festival lineup on Instagram through a Where’s Waldo?-style guessing game. On Thursday afternoon, the festival released the first in a series of cartoons displaying drawings of the headliners hidden in plain sight, accompanied by cryptic captions that hint at the identity of the artist.

The first cartoon shows a figure with flowing hair and a pink dress seated in a lotus position. The caption has many commenters guessing the mystery artist is Raveena, a mononymous Indian American R&B and soul singer. Outside Lands left fans with the hint, “This artist is like 🥛and 🍯 to our ears,” which several commenters have interpreted as a reference to “Honey,” a single by Raveena with a chorus that begins with “You’re milk and honey.”

Those who follow Outside Lands’ social media accounts can expect to see more enigmatic cartoons revealing more festival headliners in the days to come.

Outside Lands returns to Golden Gate Park Aug. 11-13, 2023. Presale tickets went on sale on March 1.
