San Francisco Police have arrested a man suspected of shooting and killing another man in the Richmond, the department announced Thursday.
Police identified the suspect as Lev Tikhomirov, 50, who was arrested on the 800 block of Bryant Street and booked into SF County Jail after officers developed probable cause during their homicide investigation .
Officers had encountered the victim after responding to reports of a break-in around 4:32 a.m. Wednesday at the 100 block of Willard North, and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, who later died at the scene.
The Medical Examiner's Office has identified the victim as Seid Seidov, 41, of San Francisco.
SFPD said the investigation continues.
