Formerly known as the Spring Eggstravaganza, SF Recreation and Park Department is holding its annual spring festival on Earth Day, Saturday, April 22.
“It’s just a happy coincidence,” said Tamara Aparton, spokesperson for Rec and Parks, of the date selection.
The festivities at the Crocker Amazon Playground include carnival rides and games, a scavenger hunt, live performances and food trucks.
Entertainers include the Feline Finesse Dance Company, a troupe out of the Bayview, as well as “Clown Prince of Fools” Unique Derique and Coventry & Kaluza circus and comedy.
An “imagination station” will feature arts and crafts, giant building blocks and archery.
There’s no admission fee for the event, which will be held between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday.
