If you’re one of the 35,000-odd attendees at Dreamforce 2023 in San Francisco, you might be in serious need of a drink after a long day of speeches and tech-speak.
You’re in luck: The Standard has gathered a list of Dreamforce after-parties and meet-ups near the convention. From ChatGPT-themed parties to mixers hosted in the Twitter—sorry, X—building, Downtown San Francisco is the tech industry’s playground this week.
Events are filling up fast, and some—including the Salesforce-hosted Queer Happy Hour on Tuesday—are already full. Most mixers will require registration and a Dreamforce badge.
“It’s all a bit overwhelming,” said Tetyana Pavych, a first-time Dreamforce attendee from Chicago. “We haven’t really decided what we’re going to do yet; there’s so many parties around.”
Tuesday
The After Party will host—unsurprisingly—an after-party at the Twitter/X building on Tuesday evening, complete with dim sum and 20% off drinks. The event organizers are plugging the party’s networking opportunities, games and raffle.
WHERE: Northern Ducks, 1355 Market St. #180
WHEN: 4-11:30 p.m.
Salesforce Ben, founded by Ben McCarthy, is a group of writers who create content about Salesforce and its technology. The members also appear to be the most plugged-in attendees at Dreamforce, hosting an afterparty at popular club 1015 Folsom. Organizers say the party is “inspired by the Summer of AI” booming in San Francisco.
WHERE: 1015 Folsom St.

If you’re feeling a little sick of Patagonia vests and lanyards, go to the Vonage Happy Hour, where Dreamforce attendees can play bingo, sip margaritas and mingle with drag queens.
WHERE: Hyatt SOMA, 50 Third Street
WHEN: 4-6 p.m.
Salesforce marketing company Sercante is hosting an “Intergalactic Night Party” that organizers say includes a live DJ, open bar and snacks. A reservation is required.

Avoid the masses with pickleball at Dreamforce: Data company Squivr is hosting a round-robin style pickleball event on Wednesday morning. Better get there early—335 people have already marked their interest in the event, as of Tuesday morning.
WHERE: The Crossing, 200 Folsom St.
WHEN: 9 a.m.-noon
Fancy a mocktail and some food? Dreamforce will host a sober event during the Foo Fighters concert, with drinks served up by Ocean Beach Cafe’s Joshua James.
WHERE: Salesforce Tower, 27th Floor Social Lounge

Thursday
Three days of networking and tech talk is exhausting. Wind down at the Wine Down, hosted by Salesforce partner Elements.
WHERE: 95 Third St.
WHEN: 4-9 p.m.
Dubbed one of the “longest-running community traditions” at Dreamforce, the Cigar Shindig will wrap up the last day of the conference with a smoke sesh in Downtown San Francisco. Drinks and cigars will be provided.

WHEN: 6:30 p.m.
Pickleball may not be your thing, but never fear: Attendees can participate in a pingpong tournament, the second of its sort hosted at a Dreamforce event.
