The folks at Michelin have placed three more local restaurants—two in San Francisco and one in Oakland—on their Bib Gourmand guide, which is meant to identify affordable, high-quality eateries with a full menu of starters, main courses and desserts.

San Francisco restaurants Good Good Culture Club and Hilda and Jesse made the list, along with Jo’s Modern Thai in Oakland.

The three Bay Area restaurants were announced along with 12 other California establishments. Eleven of the other restaurants are located in Southern California and one is in Solvang on California's Central Coast. According to the Michelin criteria, diners should be able "to order two courses and a glass of wine or dessert for $49" at restaurants that have been awarded the Bib Gourmand.
