Elon Musk said he'll step down as Twitter CEO once he finds a replacement.

In a tweet Tuesday night, the billionaire businessman said he'll resign “as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job!”

But he still plans to “run the software & servers teams” at the social media company, Musk added.

Musk's announcement comes more than a day after a majority of Twitter users in his own poll said he should step down from his brief, chaotic tenure at the company's helm.
