Mosswood Meltdown announced its full 2023 festival lineup Wednesday. The Fourth of July weekend festival, hosted by cult filmmaker and artist John Waters at Mosswood Park in Oakland, will feature punk legends Bratmobile, Mika Miko and ESG—in addition to previously announced headliners Le Tigre, Gravy Train!!!! and Tina & the Total Babes.

The summer shindig marks riot grrrl legends Bratmobile’s first public performance in over 20 years—and underground punk outfit Mika Miko’s first in a decade.

ESG, an influential 1970s deep funk and post-punk group from the South Bronx, are playing in Oakland for the first time. Other lineup newcomers include Rialto rap crew J.J. Fad, Nashville’s Snooper and San Francisco’s very own early punk pioneers, The Avengers.
