A Cruise car named Souffle “made contact” with a Muni bus Thursday afternoon, the General Motors-owned company confirmed.

Cruise said (opens in new tab) no one reported getting hurt and no passengers were in the vehicle when it gently rear-ended the city bus by Goodfellas Gifts on Haight Street.

According to a photo posted to Twitter (opens in new tab), passersby stopped on the sidewalk to observe as Cruise’s nose touched Muni’s back bumper. A Twitter user going by @d_bau13 posted that Cruise should “come get your guy Souffle.”

It’s unclear whether a driver sat behind the wheel when Souffle rolled into the bus.

The Standard reached out to the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency for comment, but did not immediately hear back.
